Mark your calendars, the Friends of the Wichita Public Library are celebrating 150 years of your library! And the best part? They're bringing ice cream sandwiches courtesy of Freddy's to a library near you! 🍦

Join us for some summer fun while supplies last. ☀

🎉 Our 8th graders had an amazing time celebrating at the end-of-year TARGET Party today! Students who earned all 3 TARGETS spent the day at our incredible neighborhood partner, Immanuel Baptist Church, enjoying volleyball, basketball, pool, foosball, board games, a concession stand, and hourly raffles for prizes! 🏀🏐🎱🎟️

The day wrapped up with a yearbook signing party filled with memories, laughter, and lots of smiles. What a great way to celebrate a fantastic group of students and all of their hard work this year! 💙

And the celebration continues tomorrow…

Free breakfasts and lunches will be available to all children 18 years old and younger at 33 locations across Wichita through the WPS Summer Food Service Program.

📅 Program Dates:
May 27 – July 24

✅ Available to ALL children ages 18 and younger
✅ Open regardless of school district attended
✅ Not limited to students receiving free/reduced meals during the school year

🎾 FREE Summer Tennis Opportunity for Incoming 7th & 8th Graders! 🎾

The USD 259 Middle School Summer Program is a great opportunity for incoming 7th and 8th grade students to learn and enjoy tennis in a fun, supportive environment. The program takes place throughout June at Riverside Tennis Center and includes:
✅ Practice on Mondays & Wednesdays
✅ Match play on Fridays

Students will be coached by experienced high school coaches and Riverside Tennis Center pros while building skills, confidence, and friendships before high school.

Every participant will receive:
🎾 A FREE tennis racquet
👕 A FREE program T-shirt
🎾 All equipment needed to play

To everyone at Hamilton, and readers, thank you for having been with us through this journey, this journey of writing, this journey of news, and this journey of information. It is sad to say that this has to end, the end of our school year, and the end of our weekly informational writing. Everyone who has written these articles gives all their thanks to everyone.

We give thanks to all Facebook viewers. It has been a fun time writing these and an honor to research them for the sake of sharing them with you all online. Though there are few viewers, we are thankful for those who do read these. Now that the school year is ending, this is the last article we will write, or rather, a thank you to you all. We give all our thanks in this article.

Thank you for all the support you have given our school and us; we all truly appreciate it. We are grateful for all the likes, as well as our teacher, Ms. Munson.
