Before Margaret Andrews joins us at the Barton School on Oct. 27, get to know the person behind the keynote. 👋

Her career has taken her from Deloitte and strategy consulting to leadership roles at MIT Sloan, Hult International Business School and Harvard University. Today, she teaches leadership and executive education at Harvard, exploring emotional intelligence, organizational culture, strategic leadership and what it really takes to lead others effectively.

At the center of her work is one important question: How can you effectively lead others if you don’t first understand how to lead yourself?

That idea inspired her highly sought-after Harvard course Managing Yourself and Leading Others, the executive program it inspired, and her 2025 book, Manage Yourself to Lead Others: Why Great Leadership Begins with Self-Understanding.

Now, she’s bringing that conversation to Wichita. 🌾

Join us for an interactive morning exploring leadership, creativity, emotional intelligence and how to become the leader you want to be.

💼 Your career doesn’t have to follow one straight path.

Last week’s Barton School of Business Hiring Fair, presented by the Office of Career and Professional Development, gave students the chance to explore what’s possible, meet employers and build connections that could shape what comes next. Because college is a time to explore, learn what you enjoy and take advantage of the opportunities in front of you.

A special thank you to Meritrust Credit Union for investing in our students and helping make experiences like this possible. Their support gives Barton students greater access to meaningful opportunities, connections and experiences that prepare them for what’s next. 💛

Here’s a look back at a great day of career exploration and connection! 🌾
