Our Pre-K friends turned their classroom into mission control for a full Space Day, and we couldn't let a day this fun pass by without reliving it. From "orbiting" around the room to exploring the stars, this crew brought so much curiosity and joy to every second.

Days like this are why we love what we do. Watching these little ones dream as big as the galaxy itself is such a gift, and we're grateful God gave us front row seats to it through this work. Every giggle, every "look at me!", every wide-eyed moment of wonder is part of what makes this calling so special.

Thankful for the Haysville and Wichita families who trust us with these precious years.

We've overcomplicated childhood development.

Somewhere along the way, we started treating play like a performance metric. Every giggle, every scribble, every wobbly first step got a label and a deadline.

Here's what years in the classroom have taught us: kids don't grow because of a perfectly curated activity. They grow because someone got down on the floor with them. Because someone talked to them like they mattered. Because someone gave them room to explore without rushing to the next "milestone."

That's not a lesser approach. That's the approach. It's why we treat this work as a calling, not just a job, and why we feel so grateful to walk alongside Haysville and Wichita families in these early years.

Slow down. Get on the floor. Watch them grow exactly how God made them to. It really is that simple.

“Wanna see a cool trick?” Of course we do!

When a child asks for you to see a new trick they’ve learned, there is something much deeper going on in their little minds…

In early childhood, kids build their confidence through the reactions of the adults around them. When they land a jump, balance on one foot, or build a tall tower, they look up to make eye contact. They are checking to see if you are watching, if they are safe, and if their efforts matter.

Taking a second to give them your full attention tells their growing brain three important things:

-You are present and paying attention.
-Trying hard things is worth the effort.
-They are valued for who they are and what they are learning to do.

It only takes a few seconds, but that simple moment of recognition builds the inner confidence and security they will carry with them for years to come.

Before the learning, play, and little moments of the day come a lot of thoughtful preparation. 💗

Our teachers intentionally set aside time to prepare meaningful, hands-on learning experiences, organize their classrooms, check safety details, and make sure everything is ready for the children in their care. During quieter moments, including nap time, they’re often preparing for what’s coming next.

And most importantly, we believe in covering our classrooms, children, families, and days in prayer. 🤍

All of that behind-the-scenes work serves one simple purpose: creating a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment where your little ones can learn, explore, grow, and know they are deeply cared for.

Early childhood teaching goes much deeper than daily routines. It means being the calm anchor during big feelings, kneeling down so a child feels heard, and celebrating the tiny victories that build lifelong confidence.
