Yearbooks are in!!!

If you purchased a 2025-2026 yearbook, you may pick up your book at Open House tomorrow from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Please see Mr. Sinclair or Mrs. Williamson to get your book.

If you cannot get your yearbook at open house, no problem! Yearbooks can also be picked up during the school day starting next week on Monday, Aug. 17th. Please check in at the front desk, and they will be happy to assist you with getting your book!

* Yearbooks must be picked up within two years of the distribution date or they become the property of Wichita North.
* Yearbooks must be purchased during the year they are being produced. If you did not purchase a 2025-2026 yearbook, it is no longer able to be ordered.

The start of school will soon be here! The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 13. A half-day of orientation for students new to middle and high school is Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Here are the times for the first TP of the year, Senior Sunrise, and the Gauntlet. The first TP will take place in the front lawn of North High, Senior Sunrise will be behind the building along the river, and the Gauntlet will take place in the front lawn.

Due to recent Kansas law, school districts and educators must limit social media to one-way communication with students. Since we can't always know if we're communicating with a student, we are no longer able to respond to direct messages or comment-based conversations on our social media pages.

It's important to us to provide support when needed. Please contact your student's school or message us at [email protected] if you need assistance.

Here is some information from WPS regarding the new Student Personal Electronic Device Policy beginning this school year. More information on how this will be implemented at North will be shared later before the school year begins.

Join us for in-person enrollment!

📌 In-person enrollment will be 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, July 27-28, at all WPS schools. Kindergarteners should enroll in person to take the Ages and Stages Questionnaire.

📌For our new families who speak other languages, additional multilingual support will be available during those same hours at the district administrative center, 903 S. Edgemoor.

As Wichita families get ready to send their children back to school, HOPE Wichita is stepping in to help.

The organization's annual backpack giveaway is this Saturday, taking place at seven different locations throughout Wichita, where families can get supplies and services to prepare for the upcoming year.
