Grand-Friends lunch week is Aug. 24th-28th. Visitors may come on a day that works for their schedule. All visitors must complete a background check and stop at the front office to print a visitor's badge. Badges may also be preprinted ahead of time and picked up in the front office, just call us to let us know you would like your badge printed early. Please note that we will not pull students from instructional time to eat with siblings. Students must eat at their assigned lunch time.

To support enhanced programming and organized recreational athletics, 6:00-6:15 PM and 6:45-7:00 PM will now serve as designated pickup times for all Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls locations.

⏰ All Club locations will close at 7:00 PM effective immediately.

Please ensure all members are picked up by 7:00 PM each day.

The Night Before School at Cunningham

’Twas the night before school, and all through the town,
Excitement was building as summer wound down.
The backpacks were ready, the new shoes just right,
And children were wondering, “Will tomorrow be alright?”

At Cunningham Elementary, things were in place,
Our classrooms were ready to welcome each face.
Corby the Cougar was waiting with spirit and pride,
And our teachers were eager to stand by your side.

There’ll be laughter and learning and friendships to make,
New things to discover and chances to take.
There’ll be stories and numbers, adventures and more,
And memories waiting just outside every door.

Our Cougars are special—we know this is true,
And we’re honored to learn and grow right alongside you.
From Kinder to Fifth grade and beyond,
We’ll help every child find where they belong.

Our DHH, LEAP and LIFE families, our 3s and PK,
Our classrooms and programs will welcome you each day.
Every child is unique, with their own special light,
And we’ll celebrate every step that they make right.

But school is not something we do on our own,
It takes families and teachers working as one.
When home and school partner, amazing things grow,
And children feel stronger wherever they go.

So when mornings are hurried and backpacks feel heavy,
When homework gets tricky and everyone’s not ready,
Remember we’re partners, and through all we do,
Our Cunningham family is here to support you.

Cunningham Cafeteria

General Information

We do not accept debit/credit cards. Cash and checks only. We don't give out change. Extra money will be credited to the students account. Each student has an identification number and will have an ID card made for them at Cunningham to use at lunch and breakfast. FYI, this number will be the same as long as they stay enrolled in the WFISD school system.

Make sure you do the required paperwork for free and reduced meals every year. This can be done online or at the Child Nutrition office.

Students will be allowed to charge up to 5 times. Snacks can not be charged. Any money sent in will pay off balances owed.

Any dietary restrictions must have the approved paperwork from the school nurse and signed by a doctor.

In order to keep up with students’ balances and spending, create an account on the “MySchoolBucks” app on your phone or laptop. You can also put money on their accounts for a small fee using this app. You will need your students’ account ID number.

You can put limits on snacks. You must write a note saying what limitations you want, sign and date, and return to the cafeteria.
