✨ Memorial Pride on Full Display! ✨
On Wednesday, October 29th, Memorial High School had the honor of hosting the TASA Future Ready Superintendent Leadership Network (FRSLN)! Over the course of three days, 150 school leaders from across Texas toured campuses throughout our district.
Our Cheer and Drill Teams truly embodied what it means to be a Memorial Maverick—showcasing not only incredible talent, but also outstanding character and respect. 💙❤️
We received so many compliments about how enjoyable the visit was, thanks to the professionalism, kindness, and school spirit of our student leaders.l!

💖 PINK OUT PEP RALLY SUCCESS! 💖
On October 24th, the Mavs Cheerleaders showed true spirit and resilience by pulling off an amazing Pink Out Pep Rally — even after unexpected weather forced a last-minute change of plans! 🌧➡️☀️
We couldn’t be prouder of this team for their hard work, flexibility, and unstoppable energy. Every challenge is a chance to shine, and these athletes did just that! ✨
Keep showing up, keep lifting each other up, and keep proving that MAVS CHEER IS ON TOP!

On October 23rd, freshman Charlie Canada was named Varsity Cheerleader of the Week! Charlie shows up to every practice with a smile on her face and a true passion for cheer in her heart. Her teammates would all agree — she’s the sunshine of our squad! ☀️
Not only is Charlie an incredible teammate, but she’s also made tremendous progress as a flyer this season. Her stunts are solid, beautiful, and reliable.
Congratulations, Charlie — your hard work and spirit truly shine! 💛👏

On Saturday, October 18th, Wichita Falls Memorial Cheer completed their first UIL choreography clinic. Our choreographer was Kade Schrader. Kade is a former University of Texas Austin Co-Ed cheerleader, UCA staffer, UCA judge, and current head cheer coach of Dripping Springs High School. Our team exemplified what it means to be a Memorial Maverick during their 8 hours of intense training. Thank you to our Cheer Booster Club for their help in making this possible! Now the work begins! Mavs On Top! 📣

JV Cheerleader of the Week was awarded to Hailey Wilks. Hailey is a Sophomore Captain of the JV. She has worked hard in her leadership role and brings a positive attitude. Hailey also volunteers to take photos for her fellow teammates, capturing life long memories. Congratulations Hailey! Keep up the great work!

Behind the scenes of excellent routines, practice schedule details, and game day spirit, Brelynn has played a significant role as Junior Captain.
