​🕛 Lunchtime Connection: STEM and RTC mentors dropped in to connect and engage with students at Memorial High School, Rider Middle Schoo and Hirschi. Building relationships is at the heart of what we do! 🤝

​🌙 Evening Empowerment: Parents gathered for the Rider RTC sessions, kicking off a powerful conversation on building a Culture of High Expectations right at home. 💡🏡

Why our work matters!

"A strong education system today ensures a strong workforce and a prosperous economy tomorrow.
The Texas economy increasingly depends on a highly educated workforce. More than 60% of jobs in Texas require a postsecondary credential, but only about 1 in 3 Texas high school graduates obtain a postsecondary credential within six years of graduation.

A strong education system creates a direct pipeline of people prepared for success after high school. Academic readiness is critical to helping students succeed in primary and secondary school, and prepare for college or a career.

A highly educated workforce is also critical to ensuring economic security and public safety for all Texans. Individuals with a postsecondary credential, or even just some college experience, are over eight times as likely to hold a good job (earning around $65,000 or more per year) as those with only a high school diploma or below. And recent academic studies indicate that incarcerated individuals who participated in college-level education programs are as much as 41.5% less likely to recidivate."

Texas 2036 uses long-term, data-driven strategies to secure Texas’ prosperity through our bicentennial and beyond.

What an Amazing article by Jack Browne.

The better question is: How do we prepare ourselves to work alongside increasingly intelligent systems?

The answer begins with recognizing that competing directly with advanced AI is the wrong strategy.

We should not expect to outperform machines in speed, memory, information retrieval, or data analysis. Those are machine strengths.

Instead, we should double down on the qualities that make us uniquely human: wisdom, judgment, empathy, trust, leadership, and mentorship.

Artificial superintelligence invites us into unexplored territory where curiosity, judgment, and lifelong learning matter most, helping people adapt without surrendering purpose or leadership.

Building a Culture of High Expectations – Part 1! 📚✨

​This evening at Barwise, we kicked off an inspiring conversation about building a Culture of High Expectations right at home. 💡🏡

​Parents teamed up in discussion groups to share practical ways to model high expectations and support their children’s success. 🤝👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

​Students worked closely with mentors to dive deep into the meaning, value, and academic rigor of the RTC Program. 🎯🎓

🚀 The Road to College Program Rocks! 🎓✨
​An incredible early morning at Legacy High School, diving deep into personal and academic goals with our dedicated RtC students. 📚💪

​By lunchtime, the energy shifted across town, connecting with STEM mentors at Barwise and RtC mentors at Rider. Different campuses and different faces, but the exact same powerful mission: building deep trust and setting high expectations for every student who walks through our doors. 🤝🌟
