School crossing guards are needed for the 21-22 school year. Crossing guard hours are: 7-8:45 am AND 3-4 pm on school days. Pay is $8.37 per hour. Requirements include: ability to walk across the street, step on and off of curbs, remain alert to traffic and assist students crossing the street. Jefferson has been blessed with an awesome principal the last 3 years. Mr. Peter Braveboy has done such an amazing job and will truly be missed by the staff, students and parents. We wish you the best of luck and know you will continue to do great things at Barwise Middle School. With Mr. Braveboy moving on to his next adventure, Jefferson is pleased to announce Ms. Erica Adkins as the next Principal. Ms. Adkins has been the Assistant Princpal for the last 6 years. We know she will continue to strive to make Jefferson a great place to learn as she moves from being GOOD to GREAT. Congratulations Mr. Peter Braveboy and Ms. Erica Adkins. It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! We are showing our appreciation for our wonderful Jefferson teachers and staff. Monday we gave the VIP treatment and stocked the lounge with yummy goodies! Yesterday was Taco Tuesday and we provided a taco bar along with a fun photo booth donated by our PIE partner, Texoma Community Credit Union. You never know what we have up our sleeves today!
