Did you know that we have a Dillard Food Pantry? If not, now you do!

Come see us Mon, Wed, Fri 10am-12pm and Tues, Thurs 2pm-5pm in DB 274E. The first 75 students will get a FREE tote bag!!!

We have hygiene products, snacks, quick meals, drinks, and school supplies. We also provide forks and hot water for cup noodles. Just ask the staff working at the desk!

Students came to talk to student organizations from MSU Texas: OSLI and get some free goodies. We don’t even think there was room to sit! Thank you for everyone who showed up and showed out. 🙌

We are excited to share this transformative investment in the future of agriculture, ranching, and agribusiness! The Diaz W. Murray Center for Farm, Ranch & Rangeland Management will create meaningful opportunities for research, education, and hands-on learning through the Dillard College of Business Administration. 🌾

A new investment in the future of agriculture and ranching through the Dillard College of Business Administration at Midwestern State University will serve as a leading resource and catalyst for promoting both economic viability and environmental stewardship through collaborative research, education, and innovative agribusiness solutions.

To establish a strong foundation for long-term success, Laura and Diaz Murray have made a generous commitment of $2.5 million to the Midwestern State University Foundation, Inc., for the benefit of the University and the establishment of the Center for Farm, Ranch & Rangeland Management. The center is dedicated to enhancing the economic profitability and financial viability of production agriculture. It will also foster healthy rangeland ecosystems through practical, research-based knowledge and support that emphasize hands-on application, enabling students to learn and implement best practices.

In recognition of the Murrays’ generosity, the Texas Tech University System Board of Regents approved the naming of the Diaz W. Murray Center for Farm, Ranch & Rangeland Management at its August meeting.

Our students had the opportunity to attend the Texas FFA State Convention in Fort Worth, where they connected with industry professionals, explored career opportunities, and strengthened their leadership skills alongside thousands of students from across the state.

From networking with agricultural leaders to participating in professional development sessions, the convention provided valuable experiences that extended beyond the classroom. As our students shared in their reflections, the experience reinforced the importance of leadership, service, communication, and building meaningful connections while opening doors to future opportunities in agriculture and business.

They saw a local problem and actually built a solution. Huge congrats to the winners of i.d.e.a MSU! 🏆

We are so proud of these students. Instead of just talking about the challenges in our community, they put in the work, got creative, and engineered real-world solutions.

Their dedication to making a difference and their mindset for innovation are exactly what we need more of. This win is incredibly well-deserved, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
