Beverages -N- Brushstrokes Let''s paint! Bring your favorite beverage and learn some fantastic brushstrokes along the way!! Snacks will be provided! I taught school in Burk for 29 years.

I am a Burkburnett High graduate and also a graduate from Midwestern State University with a degree in Art. During those years I taught Art in elementary and middle school for a total of 16 years. The 13 other years always included art in some way in my lessons. Art to me is a time of expression and time to relax the mind. It allows that creative side of the brain to be stimulated. You may be surprised what you are capable of!.

Tuesday, I have a painting class at my church, University Methodist in Wichita Falls, TX. Members of our church are painting pumpkins at no charge. Their paintings will be for sale at a fundraiser for the church. We are called to use our talents for our Church. I am so excited to do with my talents what I can in Jesus name.
