Meet Ala Elsharafi!
Ala is conducting research with Dr. Liang on protein aggregation and its connection to Parkinson’s disease. Their research focuses on cpSRP43, a protein that may help prevent the aggregation of proteins linked to neurodegenerative diseases.

Meet Christina and Katie!
This research focuses on the relationship between college students and their professors. The researchers chose this topic because they believe positive relationships with professors can make a big difference in students’ college experiences. They collected data through a Prolific survey with 101 participants. Their results showed a variety of experiences with college education and how professors supported students in their studies.

Sage is putting Geoscience on the map—literally!

Working with mentors Kashif Mahmud and Jonathan Price, Sage is creating a georeferenced digital map of the 400-acre Camp Perkins. By documenting natural features and historical landmarks, this project provides a vital tool for the Boy Scouts of America to improve land management and community engagement.
