Over the past three years, we’ve learned a tremendous amount about what works for children in our community.
Curious Minds has always believed that children are naturally curious, capable, creative, and worthy of being known as whole people. We believe learning should feel meaningful, relationships matter deeply, and children grow best in an environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to try.
This year, we are stepping into the clearest, most intentional version of Curious Minds yet.
Curious Minds is an intentional, child-centered school and early childhood program in Wichita Falls, growing with children from infancy through high school. From our youngest learners in early childhood to our school-age students, our goal is the same: to help children build curiosity, creativity, confidence, independence, and real-world skills.
For our early childhood program, that means nurturing children through connection, play, routines, language, sensory exploration, and developmentally appropriate learning. We want children to feel secure, respected, and excited to discover the world around them.
For our school-age program, that means combining meaningful choice with clear structure: daily core skills, shared lessons, hands-on projects, enrichment, accountability, and portfolio-based proof of learning. Students have voice and ownership, while also being guided to participate, grow, contribute, and show what they are learning.
At Curious Minds, learner-led does not mean learner-optional.
It means children are invited to take ownership of their learning with the support of adults who know them, guide them, and help them stretch beyond what is easy or comfortable.
We are building a place where children are known.
Where curiosity is protected.
Where creativity is taken seriously.
Where confidence grows through meaningful work.
Where mistakes are part of learning.
Where relationships come first.
Where children are supported, challenged, and celebrated as they grow.
If you are looking for a school or early childhood program that sees your child as more than a number, more than a test score, and more than a behavior chart, we would love for you to learn more about Curious Minds.
