🐾💙💛 McKibben Cubs are ready for a great 2026–2027 school year! 💛💙🐾

At McKibben, we believe positive behavior is taught just like academics. This year, we’ll continue encouraging all of our Cubs to remember our three behavior expectations:

⭐ Be Safe
💙 Be Respectful
⭐ Be Responsible

Together, we can create a school community where every Cub feels safe, supported, respected, and ready to learn! 🐻🐾📚✨

Here’s to an amazing year of learning, growing, making good choices, and showing our CUB PRIDE! 💙💛

Reading Challenge Update for the end of the Year!

We are so proud of the incredible reading that has happened across our school this year! Our students have worked incredibly hard toward their Accelerated Reader goals, and it’s time for our final celebration of some huge milestones! 🎉✨

🌟 1st Grade Goal: 150 Books A massive end-of-year shoutout to Elishua (Room 3), Penelope (Room 3), and Nathaniel (Room 3) for meeting their ultimate goal! 🥳📖 Your dedication to reading is absolutely inspiring—way to finish strong! They join Lucas (Room 8) and Nicolas (Room 4), who met the goal earlier this year.

🌟 2nd Grade Goal: 175 Books A huge round of applause for Luis (Room 12) for officially hitting his reading goal! 🌟 You kept those pages turning all the way to the finish line!

🌟 3rd–6th Grade Goal: 1,000,000 Words📚 We are so incredibly proud of all our upper-grade students who pushed themselves to read as many words as possible this year. Earlier this year, we celebrated Alaina (Room 16), who met this incredible milestone back in January! 📚

Only 2 days away from Promotion Day, and look at these amazing 6th graders rocking their Class of 2026 shirts! Thank you, for always being available to support our McKibben Cubs students and staff. These are the memories our students will cherish forever.

We are so proud of all of our 6th graders for their hard work, dedication, determination, and perseverance throughout the years. You have worked so hard to reach this milestone, and we wish each of you nothing but success as you begin your middle school journey.

Remember, Cubs: “Once a Cub, Always a Cub!” 🐾💙💛
