What is Declare Your Major Day?
Undeclared students can visit CAAS & The Office of the Registrar for support on how to declare their major throughout the day.
Students can also visit tables in the Campus Center, Hoover Patio and outside of the Science and Learning Center from 12-2pm for additional support.
Students will complete a “Declaration of Major” form online via Formstack. Laptops will be available at all of our locations.
Using a dropdown menu, students can select their new advisor.
Students submit their “Declaration of Major” form.
Take a photo and proudly declare your new major! Share to social media using our Declare Your Major Day hashtag:
Get connected to your new academic community and learn about CAAS resources available to you.
The Office of the Registrar processes the “Declaration of Major” form within 3-5 business days.
Students will receive a confirmation email.
DegreeWorks is updated and students will have a view of their new major.

Poets! Effective Tuesday, March 8th, COVID-19 Vaccination Boosters are required for all students. Registration or Degree Holds will be placed on the student accounts of those who have not uploaded verification of their booster dose to the Student Health portal. 😷 Whittier College will also continue to require masking in all shared indoor spaces. Stay safe, Poets.
