Today, Río Hondo College honored Juneteenth with a meaningful flag raising ceremony and open house.

Superintendent/President Teresa Dreyfuss, along with college leadership, joined students, faculty and staff to commemorate freedom, reflect on history and celebrate community.

After the flag raising ceremony, the Black Scholars Resource Center welcomed guests to explore its space, enjoy snacks and learn about available resources dedicated to supporting and uplifting Black student success.

Class is ONLINE and ASCYNCHRONOUS now through August 7.

This course surveys the historical development of modern architecture from the Renaissance to the present day. The influence of technological, ecological, environmental, cultural and socio- economic factors on architecture are considered. Analysis of current and future trends and developments in contemporary architecture and environmental design is covered.
