📊 Hispanic or Latino America by the Numbers!

Did you know that 70.1 million people in the United States identify as Hispanic or Latino? That represents about 20.5% of the U.S. population — roughly 1 in every 5 people.

The Hispanic or Latino population is also relatively young, with a median age of 31.1 years, and 16 states now have at least 1 million Hispanic residents.

Behind every number are families, students, educators, entrepreneurs, artists, public servants, workers, and community leaders helping shape America today and tomorrow. ❤️

We celebrate Hispanic and Latino heritage by continuing to invest in education, opportunity, families, culture, and community.

People. Potential. A Stronger Tomorrow.

🇲🇽🌎 Hispanic Heritage Month is here!

From September 15 through October 15, HOT proudly joins communities across the nation in celebrating the history, culture, achievements, and lasting contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.

This year’s theme, “Unidos, Somos Más (Together, We Are More)” reflects that our communities are strongest when we come together to support students, families, education, culture, and opportunity.

Let us celebrate the people, traditions, stories, and contributions that continue to strengthen our communities and shape our shared future.
