-Change of Events for Black History Month
>>V-Day Grams will be sold on the 13th & 14th

>>Wings N'Things on the 2/27 has been cancelled and merged with the BSU Soulfood Taster on Monday, 2/20. The time of that event is currently in the process of being changed to 5pm-7pm.
>>2/22 will no longer be a trip to see Red Tails at the theatre, we will instead have a screening of the documentary Hidden Colors in CLUB 88 @ 7:00pm INSTEAD!!!

-Black History Flyers are being remade in order to be distributed by you all
>>they will be made into 1/4 sheets for us to dorm storm and slide under doors

-Diverse Identities Month event will be the screening of the documentary Why We Laugh on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012 at 7:00pm in Diehl 118.

-OUR NEW MEETING TIME AND PLACE WILL BE 6:00pm IN DIEHL 004 (basement level classroom adjacent from the library)

BSU Minutes for January 30th, 2012

-Adding the viewing of Hidden Colors documentary to the BHM roster for either Thursday, 2-16-12 OR Wednesday, 2-29-12; votes favored Thursday the 16th. Final decision will be made after I discuss it with my meeting with Della this evening.
-Signups for Black History Month events were passed around
-FB event for BHM will be created no later than the end of this week.
-theme for Wings N'Things...between 'Game Night' and 'Social Justice/Injustice'
-Discussion topic: "Is Obama's criticism based on the job he is doing or his race?"
-Announcement for Earth-QUE-ake II (Omega Psi Phi party @ UCLA) this friday, 9pm
-proposal to change meeting time to 6:30pm was REJECTED
-proposed event/program for Diverse Identities Month was a fashion show showcasing the attire of Blacks from America and Africans
>possible theme twist of attire throughout the decades

BSU Minutes for January 23rd, 2012

-Went over the order of events for Black History Month
-tabled picking a theme for Wings N' Things because meeting attendance was horrible
-tabled picking a theme for Diverse Identities Month (see above reason)
-no discussion
