🎉 At our most recent Board of Education meeting, we had the privilege of celebrating some truly outstanding Los Nietos Middle School students!
First, we recognized our incredible MESA teams, who proudly represented Los Nietos School District at the MESA competition held at UC Irvine earlier this semester.
We then honored Team Plant Vitals—one of our MESA teams that advanced to both the regional and state competitions. Their hard work, innovation, and dedication earned them 1st Place in the entire State of California for the middle school division! 🏆🌱
Congratulations to Angel Leon, Andrew Lim, and Andrew Valdivia! Your accomplishments are extraordinary, and we are cheering you on as you head to Johns Hopkins University in Maryland this June to compete against the nation’s top teams at the National Competition. We believe in you!
Lastly, we celebrated our English Learner students who successfully met all requirements to redesignate. This milestone reflects their perseverance, commitment, and academic growth. We are so proud of each and every one of them! 🎓✨
In addition, our school principals presented their annual update to the Board, sharing the outstanding programs, engaging events, and academic successes taking place across our schools. Their presentations highlighted the incredible work of our students, staff, and families and demonstrated the many ways our schools are fostering achievement, connection, and growth.
Great things are happening in Los Nietos! From amazing students and supportive families to dedicated staff, our community continues to inspire excellence every day. 💙
