Game day Houston. My traditional pattern. Get a swim in (because fish should never be too far away from water). Say hi to the cute K9 officer checking out bags. Local police es**rt making sure we get from point A to point B in one cohesive package and to keep security status. Arrive at stadium and do more security. Get ready walking the grounds and make sure I know the shortest route to X-ray. Unusually accosted by the local security stating I need to ask permission to see Xray because it’s their home territory. I explained I’m not stopping to do that if running in with a player since THAT is the priority. Left it as said. Something new every day.

Houston. Preseason away game. Opportunity to eat locally. Found this small noodle and dumpling spot (literally) just a couple of blocks from our hotel. Very good food. Will definitely repeat if we make it back here. Heytea is a must for tea fans. Great culinary start to the season.

Day 7 Genovesa island. Charles Darwin beach. Last stop. Red footed bo***es are typically brown and can sit in trees whereas the blue foot boobie can only sit on the ground and is typically white. That being said there are genetic mixes. Here a white red footed boobie. More albatross finches mockingbirds doves and dominant bull sea lion chasing a female around the beach. Age old expeditions from history would log their presence here. My group getting last looks in.

Genovesa snorkel. Peculiar color pattern on this angelfish.

Day 7. Genovesa snorkel was our last water exploration. Bejeweled looking juvenile damselfish. Something new for me.

Day 7 Genovesa island. Price Phillips stairs and hike. Previously closed to visitors we were fortunate to have access to see RED footed bo***es. Masked bo***es. Frigate birds. Waved albatross. Small eared owl. Nests everywhere you step being careful not to stumble on any of these amazing creatures. Finches. Doves. And more.

Day 6. Zodiac between Santiago and Sombrero Chino islands. These are barely separate islands only a few hundred yards apart. Galapagos penguins and sea lions. Hawks nest with offspring.

First time seeing Atlanta here. Good team. Head coach less as of 2nd quarter. Need emotional response from team to take advantage of it. Fan favorite Mai Yamamoto

Rare moment when they’re on the surface. Even more rare that their heads are out of the water.
