Summertime flew, and yesterday was our teachers and staff’s first day back!

This table was set for us to come together for the morning and was quickly filled with smiling faces, eager to get the year started.

We met to discuss the upcoming school year, had lunch together and began preparing classrooms.

We cannot wait to welcome every student back to school in just a few short weeks. 💙

This week we focused on the Fruits of the Spirit and Mrs Laramore’s class made self portraits and labeled themselves with all of the fruits!

This was a fun activity to teach that the fruits aren’t just words, they become part of us as we develop and strengthen our relationship with God. 💛

This week we learned about Jonah and the Big Fish! 🐳

We had so much fun today re-enacting the story. Mrs Wohleb took us out to our playground ship and we pretended like we were Jonah in the boat during the storm. It was a lot more fun for us than Jonah had.

Then, a big fish came and swallowed us up! We prayed to God, and then it spit us out!! 😝

We learned that God is a forgiving God and we need to be obedient to Him, no matter how hard the task is. 💪🏻
