🏆 The House Cup has arrived! 🏆

This week, we unveiled the trophy that will be awarded at the end of the school year to the LCA House with the most points!

Every challenge, competition, act of service, and demonstration of virtue brings your House one step closer to victory. The Cup is waiting—which House will claim it?

While four Houses compete for the Cup, we remain united as one school—united by our shared mission, our virtues, and our commitment to what is good, true, and beautiful.

Let the competition begin! 🏆⚔️

Four Houses. One School. One Cup.

Classroom Outside: College, Community & Baseball ⚾️

On Wednesday, September 23, our LCA high school students took learning beyond the classroom as part of the MLB Classroom Outside Series at Comerica Park!

Students had the opportunity to meet with recruiters from a variety of colleges and universities, ask questions, and begin thinking about the paths that may lie ahead. After the college fair, it was time to trade college brochures for baseball gloves as we cheered on the Detroit Tigers against the Washington Nationals!

From conversations about the future to plenty of laughs in the stands, the day offered a wonderful mix of learning, fellowship, and school spirit—and, perhaps most importantly, the chance to create memories together.

A good education forms the mind, but shared experiences help form a community.

Serving Beyond the Classroom! 🐎

Our LCA Student Council members recently put service into action by volunteering at the Honey Run USEA Horse Trials. Students helped with event setup and served as judges throughout the competition—giving their time and talents to support our local equestrian community with a combined 72 hours of service!

And they did it all in the rain! 🌧️ Despite a full day and a half of wet weather, our students maintained a positive attitude, worked together, and continued to serve with enthusiasm.

We were especially proud to cheer on two LCA students competing in the horse trials—one from our 5th grade and one from 9th! 🏇

What a wonderful opportunity for our students to practice one of LCA’s core virtues: Service—while supporting their fellow students and our community.

09/21/2026

There will be no school for students on Friday as our faculty spend the day learning and growing together at the Hoogland Center for Excellence Conference at Ivywood Academy.

We’re grateful for a wonderful opportunity to invest in our teachers so they can continue to provide our students with an excellent education. We hope you enjoy the long weekend!
