Almost Home Childcare is now ready to begin enrolling for our new location! We have spots available from infant (starting at 6 weeks old) through 12 years old. After school pickup will be offered for the school age students for Whitewright and Quest.
As many know, Ms. Shannon and I ( Mrs. Shellby), previously were childcare teachers within a daycare center. We have owned our in-home childcare for over two years and are very excited to expand within the community!

It was exciting to unroll & lay out the new rugs today!! Unrolling the “God is Love” rug was a beautiful reminder as to what today is and for the days to follow. It may be just a rug, but we see it as one way to bring the light & love of Jesus Christ into our center. 💛✝️

Thank you so much to Naomi & her crew for making this building shine again! We are excited to get the classrooms ready over the next couple of weeks! 🤩

We are now enrolling! Two spots are currently available for ages 18 months to 4 years old.
Almost Home Childcare is in home care for both preschool & after school children.
Here is a little bit about us and what we do...
● there are three teachers here who are experienced in childcare: Mrs. Shellby, Ms. Shannon, and Mr. Cody.
● because we are in home, our classes are small in numbers.
● we DO provide a curriculum in class for our Littles.
● we follow a consistent daily routine.
● our hours are 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
● rates vary depending on age and potty training status. Message for more info!
● morning and after nap snack is provided.
● mats and blankets are provided for naptime.
● we have outside time twice daily! Weather permitting.
● parent provides breakfast, lunch and a change of clothes/ diapers/ wipes.
● most importantly we have fun! From projects to hands on activities. Not only do we prepare for "big kid school" we learn everyday social, emotional, and understanding skills. We love our children and strive to see them succeed!
