🍂 Our Young Tots are enjoying all things fall!

Today our little artists used their hands to create their own cute fall artwork. They had so much fun exploring fall colors, getting a little messy, and creating something special! 🧡🍁

Today, our Pre-K 3 class headed outside, and Mrs. Veronica turned their outdoor play into a wonderful learning opportunity! 💛

While playing together, the children talked about friendships—what it means to be a good friend, how we treat our friends, sharing, taking turns, and using kind words.

We love finding learning opportunities in everyday moments! Sometimes the best lessons happen while we’re simply playing, exploring, and being together. 🥰

We hope everyone has a great weekend!

A little taste of Mexico at Almost Home! 🇲🇽

Yesterday we celebrated Mexico’s Independence Day with stories, culture and yummy treats!

Our Young Tots and Sharp Tots enjoyed Gansitos for breakfast while learning how Mexico gained its independence. In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed Galletas Marías while our After Schoolers got their turn with the story.

Fun fact: Galletas Marías are a staple in many Mexican homes, often enjoyed with milk or coffee and used in traditional desserts.

A fun little way to share Mexican culture with our kiddos! 🇲🇽❤️

This week, the kids have been learning all about farm animals! 🐄🐖🐔🐴

We have also been focusing on the letter P! We have been practicing making the P sound and learning about words that start with P. What are some things you can think of that start with the letter P?

What is your child’s favorite farm animal? We would love to know! 🐷🐮
