Hey Whitewater Community! Busy on March 6th? Come on out to Young Auditorium at 7:30pm to see Funk Club Wagon to help support Whitewater schools.

Support our Optimist Club mission by taking part in the virtual auction we have to come! Auctions start the day of the show and there are 3 premium items up for bid. All proceeds will be split between the UW-W Warhawk Emergency Fund and the Whitewater Unified School District Family Emergency Fund.

In-person tickets and live stream access are available for this exclusive concert event.

Hopefully everyone had a nice, relaxing Christmas and New Year celebration at home. Looking into 2021, we are hoping to see some fun events happening in our community that we can look forward to. Many families in Whitewater were able to attend the reverse Christmas parade hosted by the WAFC, which let the kiddos tell Santa what they wanted in a covid-safe way!

The pandemic has caused many cancellations in our regularly held events, so here's to hoping that we can see some more positive things going on in the months down the road!

Yesterday we were able to deliver Birthday boxes! Majority of them made their way to the Community Food Pantry, so if you or someone you know would benefit from having these pre-stuffed birthday boxes- Please go check them out.

Inside each box you will find: A box of cake mix, frosting, sprinkles, plates, napkins, balloons, and birthday candles!

This week we are putting together birthday boxes to take to The community food pantry & the UWW Food Pantry! We definitely make a good dent in the inventory of Walmart’s party supply aisle!

Last Friday our advisor, Kim, and two of our Exec Board members presented a check for $200 to Dr. Kate Ksobiech. This money is going to be put towards the Nature Heroes kits sponsored by the Working for Whitewater Wellness Committee this Fall.

These nature exploring kits are going to be a great way for families in the community to get outside and have some fun!
