The mentors are ready! In advance of next Wednesday's parent meeting to kick off the 2026-2027 robotics season, many of our new and old Ferradermis mentors met for the first time to get acquainted and discuss the skills they can share with students this year. These volunteers range from previous, current, and future team parents, to engineers from local companies, to IT professionals, to alumni from Ferradermis and other state teams, to UWW students and staff, with many falling into multiple of those categories. Thank you for your time and dedication to helping provide this experience for students!

Raining on Saturday? Not a problem! Come meet us at the Whitewater Public Library between 10:00 am and noon for our Tech Playground Robotics Drop-In Lab. We’ll be doing demonstrations with the big robot, coding STEM 101 robots, playing with SNAP Circuits, and making binary bracelets. There will be fun for all ages!

A small but mighty crew spent the afternoon moving all of the robotics equipment and supplies from storage in the gym on one end of the building into our new workspace on the other end of the building. There is still a lot of work to be done to get everything organized, but we need to wait for our shelving to be in place. Go, Ferradermis! It is exciting to be moving forward into a beautiful new workspace!
