Just reflecting on our recent CC Challenge Spring Protocol event from last Friday, an event designed to celebrate our Challenge High School students' growth as young adults! We started with an elegant dinner at Highland Golf & Country Club and then made a quick stop at nearby Sanctus Garden, a living tribute to the late Raymond Leppard, longtime cherished conductor of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. We then headed to Clowes Memorial Hall to enjoy Indy Ballet's captivating performance of Romeo & Juliet accompanied by the ISO performing Sergei Prokofiev’s powerful score. Loved it all, especially these people, whom I count as blessed friends!

A picture is worth a thousand words--a video maybe a few thousand more? I love seeing this Challenge A (7th Grade) student in Classical Conversations free-hand draw a map of the world from memory without a list or any prompts! It is impressive! But impressive doesn't happen overnight!

In CC, students first learn basic facts (grammar), grow to reason clearly (dialectic), and practice in communicating ideas and applying them effectively (rhetoric). How do students do this? Through repetition and practice both at home and in a once-a-week community setting with peers, a classroom tutor, and you, the Parent Teacher! Want to know more?
