St. Mel’s had some fun with science yesterday!!

Ms. Horodecki’s 6th, 7th, and 8th graders worked on building the ultimate egg protector in STEM class. The students used what they knew about gravity, forces, and impact when creating their egg protector. The students tested their ideas and problem solved along the way.

Yesterday, the students tested out their egg protectors. Mr. Bruno dropped their protectors off the room with an egg inside to see whose would crack and whose would stay whole. Do you think any of them worked? Ms. Murphy’s 1st graders joined in on the fun as spectators.
