Tami's School of Golf

Well it’a time. Everyone said that when it was time a person would know. I agree with that statement totally now. I know that it is time for me to stop teaching golf. As of September 1st I am officially retiring from teaching. I have had a wonderful 30 years and never thought I would reach this point but I have. I look forward to seeing my Son and Granddaughter more often. Traveling during the summer. And of course playing golf with all the great friends I have met over the years. So please if I have given you lessons and you want to play just give me a call. I want to thank each and every one of you that helped me live out my dream of being a golf teacher. I am forever grateful for the time we shared together. Hit them straight and long.

I’m sorry but I must cancel tonight’s clinic due to me being exposed to Covid. Someone I have had close contact with has tested positive and I must err on the side of caution. Sorry for any inconvenience but I hope to see you next week.

Well, I have experienced a first. I have taught golf in Georgia with the gnats, and Tennessee in the extreme heat, I have never had to cancel a lesson for either of them. But today in New York it was impossible to teach a good lesson when both you and your student are swatting hundreds of mosquitoes. Never have I ever had swarms of them on both of us. Not any bug spray can handle that many. Holy Moly it was crazy.

Due to the conditions of the range and the possible future rain, I am cancelling today's clinic. I will be out of town next week and I'll be back on Sept 2nd.

After a lot of prayers and reflection over the past year, I have decided to retire from teaching and running the Junior Summer Golf Camps. I have enjoyed the 26 years of meeting and working with all the young golfers and will miss them all very much. I will still be teaching individual and group lessons so give me a call. I thank all of you that allowed me to work with your children and I must say it was a heck of a good time that I will miss very much.
