OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE SERIES RESULTS!

After three months of dedicated rehearsals, and an incredible performance at UIL Concert and Sightreading, the Whitesboro Wind Ensemble submitted their recordings for the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series.

We competed through region, area, and have finally arrived at the state level with two of our pieces!

Today, it was announced that our march, El Zorro Rojo has placed SECOND out of all 3A marches in the state!

In addition, our concert piece, J.S Jig has placed FOURTH out of all 3A concert pieces in the state!

We are so incredibly proud of our students for sharing their musical excellence at such a high level with the world!

The Whitesboro Wind Ensemble is headed back to the State Outstanding Performance Series Contest with TWO of their concert selections!

El Zorro Rojo and J.S. Jig will be judged against other 3A performances in July at the Texas Bandmasters Association Clinic and Conference.

Last week, the Middle School Maroon Band took a trip to Pinstack for the American Classic Music Festival. They had a great time with a superior performance and received great feedback. We are extremely proud of them and how they’ve performed this season! Please come check them out, next Thursday, at the middle school spring concert!

Congratulations to our very own Mr. Adams for landing his first Band Director job in Marietta! We are so proud of you and wish you all the best in your next chapter!

The band staff got some well-deserved professional development time listening to some fabulous bands at the Peak Music Festival on campus at UNT.

Hearing these bands helps us gain perspective, establish new goals, and plan for the future!

WOW Night Tonight! 6:00p at Whitesboro Middle School!

We can’t wait to show off our fabulous middle school musicians at our Works of Wonder Fine Arts Showcase. There will be performances by our Middle School Band, Choir, and Theater with exhibitions by the Middle School Art and BIM programs!

Come hungry! We will be providing a FREE spaghetti dinner while supplies last!
