I’m am very proud of my 5th & 6th graders work in their sketchbooks this last year. This was year one of a “How to Build a Drawing” unit where they had to find their own images or borrow from my collection to create a unique drawing, first in pencil, then finishing in color. They exceeded expectations! I’m so very excited to continue to grow this unit!

I’m so proud of these 5th & 6th grade sketchbook drawings! These are from our new, “How to Build a Drawing“ unit. Students search or borrow images for inspiration, focus on creating a completed drawing first, then finish with outlining and color. Outstanding work ARTISTS! I’m excited to grow this unit further next year! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷
