A little daycare recap! ❤️

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been learning about community helpers! We read books from the library, played pretend, created firefighter hats, and practiced putting out imaginary fires with water guns. We’ve also enjoyed water play and the bounce house! 📚🚒💦

I also rearranged our daycare room into more defined centers, including a new library and study area!

Reminder: We will be closed Monday. Happy Labor Day!

We’ve been a little quiet on Facebook lately! 🌞🎨💦

Between family commitments and finishing up my college finals, I haven’t had much time to post, but we’ve been having so much fun!

Here are a few highlights from the past few weeks. We’ve enjoyed lots of outdoor play whenever the weather and air quality allowed, and on days that were too hot or when the air wasn’t safe, we stayed inside for painting, sensory play, counting activities, and other hands-on learning.

It’s been a fun few weeks, and I wanted to share some of our favorite moments! ❤️

☀️ Weekly Recap ☀️

A little late, but before we kick off another fun week tomorrow, here’s a look back at last week’s adventures!

We started the week by celebrating a special 5th birthday with cupcakes and party hats. 🧁🎉

The beautiful weather meant lots of outdoor play! The children had so much fun bouncing in the bouncy castle, chasing bubbles, dancing and moving to music, and taking turns giving their friends rides in our ride-on car. 🚗🫧🎶

Inside, we enjoyed Play-Doh, puzzles, imaginative play, and plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and play together.

Thank you for another wonderful week filled with laughter, friendship, and happy memories. We can’t wait to see everyone for another fun week! 💕

We had a fun week at Nina’s Home Daycare daycare! 🏡💕

The children enjoyed lots of outdoor play, bounce house fun, climbing, sliding, and creative activities. We also spent the week practicing identifying the color green through play and everyday activities.

We celebrated a special 3rd birthday with cupcakes and party hats, and we worked on Father’s Day gifts to send home this weekend.

☀️ Nina’s Home Daycare is back open Monday! ☀️

Thank you to all of my daycare families for your patience while I was away. Vacation ended up being much busier than expected!

If you have sent me a message and I haven’t responded yet, I apologize. I am working through them and will be getting back to everyone as soon as possible.

I’ve missed all the kiddos and am looking forward to seeing everyone again this week! ❤️

Last week at Nina’s Home Daycare, we had a fun and busy week filled with hands-on learning and plenty of outdoor play! The children enjoyed jumping in the bouncy house, exploring sensory bins, and getting creative with Play-Doh. We practiced using scissors to strengthen fine motor skills and painted craft sticks for an upcoming art project. We also spent lots of time outside digging in the sandbox, riding toys, and enjoying the beautiful spring weather. One exciting highlight of the week was spotting a couple of deer wandering through the neighborhood—such a special surprise! 🦌☀️🎨✂️💚

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from Nina’s Home Daycare! 🌸

Last week at Nina’s Home Daycare, we enjoyed lots of outdoor play, bubbles, books, play dough, and hands-on learning. We practiced our colors and the sounds of color words while learning through play.

We also created special Mother’s Day gifts, including handprint flower bouquets and spider plants that we rooted during our science project and planted in the ladybug pots we decorated together. 🪴🐞💐

Wishing all of our amazing daycare moms a very Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for trusting me with your little ones each day. ❤️

Last week we continued learning about plants and roots 🌱 and made these “growing with love” jars with our handprints as roots 🤍
