Parker had an outstanding day at SkillsUSA Nationals! We’re incredibly proud of the way he performed and represented us on the national stage.

He gave it everything he had and left it all out there. Now we wait for awards on Friday night. 🙏🤞🏻

No matter the outcome, we couldn’t be more proud of his hard work, dedication, and effort.

Last night was an incredible experience for our team! We competed in an Explorer competition for the very first time, and it was unlike anything we've ever done before.

Starting in the evening and continuing through the overnight hours into early this morning, our students worked a 12-hour simulated patrol shift in Allen, Texas. Teams were dispatched all across the city to a variety of realistic scenarios and had to think critically, communicate effectively, and work together to solve each situation.

This competition challenged us in new ways, taught us valuable lessons, and gave us a glimpse into the realities of law enforcement patrol work. Operating through the night and into the early morning hours added an extra level of realism and tested our team's endurance, professionalism, and decision-making skills.

We learned a lot, had an amazing time, and we're already looking forward to coming back next year!

A huge congratulations to our team for bringing home 🥇 1st Place in the Active Shooter Scenario! 💪🏼🚔

Thank again to Allen Explorers, Allen PD and Allen ISD for hosting a great event!

Not every classroom has sirens, crime scenes, courtrooms, or fire gear. Ours does.

The Whitehouse Criminal Justice Club is where students train, compete, and lead in Law Enforcement, Forensics, Corrections, Legal Studies, and Fire Services.

These new hype videos capture the intensity, professionalism, and pride behind every pathway in our program. This is bigger than competition — it’s preparation for the real world. 🎥🔥

So proud of our Chief Taryn! Way to represent CJC. We will be going to Austin in May!

Updated: Thank you to everyone who has reached out so far—we truly appreciate the support. We are currently about $4,000 away from reaching our goal for the nationals trip. If you’re interested in contributing, please reach out and we’d be happy to share more information on how you can help make this opportunity possible.

As we approach the close of our competitive season, we’re incredibly proud of all that’s been accomplished this year—7 State Champions, multiple runner-up and third-place finishes, the election of a student state officer, and even a national qualifier!

With the opportunity to compete at the national level, we’re now working to make that trip a reality. We are seeking support through donations, with a goal of raising $7,000 to help cover the costs of attending.

If you would like to donate to the Whitehouse High School Criminal Justice club account, you can drop either cash or a check at the High school front office. You can also give Officer Lemons a check of cash directly. We will write you a receipt either way.

Thank you so much!

Another week, another contest! Skills USA was a blast. Starting off with Crime Scene model.

Katrina Kunkel scored a 390 out of 400 superior ribbon!

Then in our second contest, Parker Rust earned first place in criminal justice. He has accomplished something that’s never been done in club history. He qualified as a national finalist for SkillsUSA national convention in June in Atlanta, Georgia!

On top of that, almost every single competitor/team placed Top 10 in the state. That’s a big deal, and it says everything about the work these students have put in.

Outside of competition, this group continues to lead from the front.

Renna Watson was voted by all TPSA students as their next President. She will be the very first state officer for our program.

We were honored to win the Chapter Impact Video Competition for our work helping with the CASA for Kids fundraiser night.

We also earned the Large Chapter Community Service Hours Award with 650+ hours given back to our community—most of it tied directly to public safety.

Shoutout to a couple that went above and beyond:
Katrina Kunkel – Bronze Level (88 hours)
Parker Rust – Gold Level (161 hours) and the only one on stage at that level

That kind of commitment doesn’t happen by accident.
And to our seniors…

Y’all built this. You set the tone for what this program is and what it’s going to keep becoming. It’s been a wild ride, and I’ve honestly loved every minute I’ve gotten to spend with y’all. Practices, competitions, the chaos in between—it’s what makes it special.

Appreciate everything you’ve done for this program. You’ve left it better than you found it.

Back to work soon. ⚖️
