Oh, Dolly! We'll miss you! 🍀

Today we mourn the loss of an American icon, a beloved philanthropist and a proud 4-H alumna, Dolly Parton. Her extraordinary life was defined not only by her incredible talent, but by her unwavering generosity, compassion and commitment to helping others.

For generations of young people, Dolly embodied what it means to use your gifts in service of others. From her roots in 4-H to her lifelong investment in literacy, education and community, she showed us that true leadership is grounded in humility, kindness, and purpose. As Dolly once said, "storms make trees take deeper roots." 💚

A proud 4-H alumna, she reminded us that challenges can strengthen us and help us grow. That wisdom will continue to inspire young people and communities for generations to come. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the millions whose lives she touched. Her legacy of hope, generosity, and service will live on. 🍀

✍️ Registration is opening soon for Fall Forum 2026, held from November 6-8, 2026 in Stevens Point, WI!

🍁 At Fall Forum, participants can look forward to:
- An inspiring keynote address
-Opportunities to participate in dozens of youth- and adult-led workshops
- Choose-your-own-adventure interactive activities
- Reflection on the weekend and future goal setting

We truly had the best summer with you in our office. While we don't necessarily want to say goodbye, we are so excited to see where your future takes you and wish you all the best in the coming school year and beyond. Your confidence, leadership, and dedication shined throughout the summer, making a positive impact on everyone around you, especially the youth you worked with each day. We know these qualities will take you far in your academic and professional journey. Thank you for all of your hard work, enthusiasm, and the lasting memories you've helped create. We'll miss you!
