A positive and safe environment to explore your voice. Offering classical, musical theater and contemporary commercial music lessons. As a private voice teacher, it is important that I expose my students to many different genres of music and also incorporate their own interests. It is my responsibility to help them prepare for futures in music and beyond.

So excited to explore “Design for Belonging”!!

A few weeks ago I was honored to go to the workshop of the same name. We were all asked what does belonging mean to us and add it to a large white board.

The typical words, definitions, and phrases were all added.

Safety, friendship, community, etc.

My word was CHOIR. A place where everyone belongs, where every voice is important, where you can find a family.

I can’t wait to dive into this book a bit more! I want to learn to design authentic spaces and places of belonging in my studio, home, and community.
