Huge thank you to Alex Foulk, once again, for installing this peg board. Percussionists now have an easier-to-reach spot to put all of their equipment.

The cabinets have moved to the back room and now house the largest percussion equipment. (Cymbals, brake drum, bongos, unused instrument stands, and the repair kit)

Deubrook Area Schools students in the Deubrook Music Department are selling Domino's "Slice the Price" cards for $20 each. Students earn $10 back into their school account.

You may order online and have the card shipped directly to you for only $1 more. ($21 total) Click the link above for more details! You may type in the name of the student you wish to support and click it when it pops up. (If it doesn't you may STILL type the name in!)

Domino's Slice-the-Price offer=Buy one large pizza, get one FREE. (equal or lesser value) This is valid until DECEMBER 31st, 2024. The card pays for itself within 2 trips!

If you do not eat Domino's pizza or do not live within the service area, you can GIFT a card to somebody else OR to the music department itself.

We would greatly appreciate your support either way!

Our goals:
1. Uniform updates: First and foremost, black concert/marching shoes. We surplussed our old, white marching shoes, and this will allow for a cleaner look in marching band AND concert ensembles alike.

4 cards per student buys each student one pair of black shoes.

12 cards is additionally enough to buy a student a full set of black concert attire (shirt/pants OR dress and shoes).

This way, everybody looks uniform while keeping costs to families and the school to a minimum.

2. Future trips: We are brainstorming where to go in the next 1-2 years for a major music trip (Last major trip was to Branson, MO in 2021). If you have suggestions, please email Mr. McCormick.

We are also looking to travel closer to home (Minneapolis or Sioux Falls) in the meantime. Fundraisers like these keep the cost to music families to a minimum.

Well DONE, Dolphin Pep Band! We did it! Our second and final game is February 15th vs. ELB. Giving all Deubrook Area Alumni 2 weeks to brush up.

*Recent (2016 or later) alumni, note that Seven Nation Army is 100% in g minor now.

*We are going to attempt to play Wipe Out in band today. If it is good enough by tomorrow, we'll add it to our list.

Huge thank you to Mr. TenBrink's CTE classes for bending the door back, and a shout out once again to Alex Foulk for the re-installation.

It's nice to have a door that doesn't bounce open or slam shut! (And two functional practice rooms)

Congratulations, Hailey (Soprano), Itani (Tenor), Sam (Bass), and Adrianna (Alto).

You represented Deubrook Area Schools well at All-State Chorus and made us proud.

I hope you remember this event for years and use your new experience to further lead by example in chorus back at home.
