Ready to step behind the scenes of real-world broadcasting? 🎥🎙️

Applications are now open for WRAL Explorer Post 5! If you're a HS Junior or Senior interested in media, journalism, or television production, this program gives you hands-on experience right inside the newsroom.

Who: High school juniors and seniors (11th & 12th graders)
When: October – May (Meets twice a month, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Where: WRAL Studios (2619 Western Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27606)

Applications are now available for the 2026–2027 Sampson Junior Leadership program! This nine-session program gives students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, explore Sampson County, meet community leaders, and learn about areas such as government, agriculture, healthcare, law enforcement, the military, and local industries.

Interested juniors should see Mrs. Tew for an application. Completed applications and two teacher recommendations are due by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11. Space is limited, so don’t miss this exciting opportunity!
