Mountain Brook Forge

Mountain Brook Forge This page is how I show off. Made lots of nice stuff, thought you might like to see them. You can also buy something if you want by going to my Etsy page

Mountain Brook Forge started as a small one man forge making hand forged tools and household and garden items. After Jim hit the anvil for the last time in fall 2020 (crappy year all around), Jim's kids (Patrick & Lily & her husband Sean) started running the coal business and forge. We are still the Northwest distributor for Blacksmithing Coal, L-Brand Forge Coke and a little of our home-made charcoal (if you are lucky).

Hi Folks - Mountain Brook Forge is planning to head up to the NorthWest Blacksmith Association Swaptoberfest on Saturday with a truck load of coal and coke to sell. We're planning on taking a quarter ton of coke (about 10 bags) and 1500 lbs of coal (about 30 bags).

If folks are wanting large quantities, shoot us a note at [email protected] and we'll bring more.

Hi All Mountain Brook Forge and NWBA friends.

As some of you may have heard, Jim von Mosch, proprietor of Mountain Brook Forge (and my dad) died back in the fall. We tried to get the word out to all his pals at the NWBA and blacksmithing community and if we missed you somehow, apologies and hope this doesn't give you too big of a blam.

We wanted to let everyone know that my brother Patrick, my husband Sean, and I will be continuing both Mountain Brook Forge and the coal business per my dad's wishes and our inclination.

Before he died we worked on a new website that will be launching soon, as well as some sale pricing on coal & coke in the near future.

You can keep contacting us up at the farm, through facebook or via [email protected] & [email protected]

All of our coal drop locations have inventory of coal and some have coke as well. Please visit https://www.mountainbrookforge.com to find out more. We'll let you know here when the revamped website launches :)

Thanks to everyone for their support and friendship to my dad and our family through the years - he certainly loved his blacksmithing community!
