Kyle Forsthoff wrote a great article on the history of Connecticut Halftime in this month’s issue of percussive notes. https://pas.org/publication-articles/percussive-notes-vol-62-no-6-december-2024-complete-issue/ and in the article he talks about the Fancher 2/4 (which I have a video of me playing here https://youtu.be/de8yZc1Ilvc?si=81EtWAvGcUse9x1k), which was published in the Moeller Book in 1925, but subsequently deleted from all later editions. It just so happens that I have conveniently restored Fancher’s variations and 77 other pages of the first edition Moeller Book and you can get my reissue here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CV4M639V
