Savage Hart Farm Savage Hart Farm is a small sheep farm that Todd and Peggy Allen have started in Hartford Vermont. W

As of November 7, Savage Hart Farm has a total of 39 sheep - mostly colored Corriedales and Cormos. We had 21 lambs in April and will start breeding in mid-November for lambs in April 2017! Our rental apartment offers either a one bedroom/one bath or a two bedroom/two bath configuration. Guests enjoy privacy, spectacular views, proximity to many nearby activities and attractions (Dartmouth College is only a 15 minute drive away), and can meet the sheep if they like.

We gave our neighbors two bred ewes last December. They each had twins this spring. Here they all are hanging out in their driveway this morning. They could walk down the road if they wanted to. Very well trained.

We dewormed the flock yesterday. Guests Amy and Steve helped us out. Steve was in charge of tracking what we did. Amy was in charge of letting the sheep out after we’re done with each one of them. It was the fastest and easiest deworming session we’ve ever had. This is a shot of Steve’s tracking. Better than anything we’ve ever done.
