Education Sciences consists of two year long programs. This course also explores the numerous opportunities available in the various coaching professions.

Education Sciences is a technical program at HACTC (Hartford Area Career and Technology Center), located in Hartford, Vermont, and educating students from: Hanover, Hartford, Home Study, Lebanon, Mascoma, Thetford, Windsor, and Woodstock. "Teaching and Learning" is a one year course, for students in grades 10-12, that gives high school students an opportunity to study topics important to the field

Education Sciences is honoring our senior Brooke Shambo (Hartford High School)! Brooke has spent the past two years at the HACTC in the Teaching and Learning as well as the Coaching and Leading classes.
She embodies the HACTC mission statement: Respect.Engage.Learn.Work.Serve.Grow. Brooke will be a full time toddler teacher starting this summer and plans on majoring in the field of Education. We are so proud of you Brooke!

Education Sciences is honoring our senior Bryan Lowell (Mascoma High School)! Bryan has spent the past two years at the HACTC in the Teaching & Learning & Coaching & Leading classes. He embodies the HACTC mission statement: Respect.Engage.Learn.Work.Serve.Grow. Bryan has enlisted in the Marine Corps. He will be starting boot camp in August on Parris Island in South Carolina.

Education Sciences is honoring our senior Lexia Stanley (Windsor High School)! Lexia has spent the past three years at the HACTC in the Teaching and Learning, Coaching and Leading classes as well as the CTE program. She embodies the HACTC mission statement: Respect.Engage.Learn.Work.Serve.Grow. Lexia will be attending Plymouth State University in the Fall and plans on majoring in the field of Elementary Education. We are so proud of you Lexia!

Education Science students enjoyed their visit to the CATV studio which is housed at the HACTC! Students will be able to utilize CATV next year to assist with video creation or other projects if they wish!
