We are ready! Next Tuesday the new school year starts and we can't wait to welcome all the students. The teachers have spent the last few days getting everything ready. We can’t wait! Wir sind bereit! Am kommenden Dienstag beginnt das neue Schuljahr und wir können es kaum abwarten, alle Schüler willkommen zu heißen. Hi, I’m Hera, a Bernese Mountain Dog. I just arrived in NYC all the way from Berne 🇨🇭. Come explore Central Park with me! In German we are called Berner Sennenhunde. Our name references Berne, where we originated from as well as “Senn” or “Senner” which is the German word for a shepherd who herds cattle. Mountainous regions are where we feel most at home, so I’m still getting used to NYC summers! 🗽☀️🍦

The plenary session on 20 August 2022 focused on the future of democracy. 🏛 The continued existence of Swiss democracy requires the involvement of young people - including young people from the Fifth Switzerland. 💪
