Look who teacher Karen saw perform at the famous Birdland Jazz Club in Manhattan this past Sunday night... former Sounds Good teacher Melissa Stylianou! She is part of the jazz trio Duchess, and they, along with a nine-piece band, had an album release party on Sunday night. Be sure to check out "A Marvelous Party" by Duchess!

Oh what a morning it was ! This past Saturday, beloved Sound Good teacher and former Music Along The Sound director Jean Young taught her final class Music Together Generations class. Families from the past 21 years came back to sing with Jean and celebrate her upcoming retirement. Some families hadn't taken class in ten, fifteen or even twenty years, but they still remembered the words and sang along! And of course, we had our "Grandfriends" (residents of Willow Towers) who have loved their weekly Saturday morning classes for decades. This morning truly symbolized the glorious joy, community, and connection of making Music Together. We will all greatly miss Jean, but we know she will go on to do wonderful and fascinating things in her retirement!

The hugs and love that we get as teachers in our classes is the best!

Last week we invited our Sounds Good families to bring in their beloved stuffies to their Music Together classes. We had a blast singing, dancing, and playing with them!

This wonderful grandmother has been coming to our classes since 2019! She knows how special it is to make Music Together with her grandchildren and how much learning and joy take place!
