Welcome to a new school year, White Plains! The White Plains PTA Council is inviting parents from across the district together for a night out on Friday, October 30th. Take a break from the schedules, sports, homework, meetings and everything else that comes with being a parent, and join us at the Coliseum for a night out with fellow WP parents. Come in costume, come in orange & black 🧡🖤, or just come as you are!

Free admission | Cash bar | Costumes strongly suggested

And while admission is free, we’d love for you to support your school’s PTA with a cash donation that evening.

On Tuesday evening, the White Plains PTA Council held its final meeting of the school year.

A huge thank you to Donna Lafferty-Keane and Kate Scorza Ingram for their two years of service as co-presidents. Their dedication, leadership, and countless hours spent supporting our PTAs, schools, students, and families have made a real difference. They have led with thoughtfulness, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to our community, and we are so grateful for all they have done.

The Council also elected a new slate of officers for the coming year. Congratulations to everyone who was elected, including incoming co-presidents Kris Lalla and Amy Handelsman. With a strong foundation in place thanks to Donna and Kate’s leadership, the Council is well-positioned for another successful year of supporting the White Plains school community.

Thank you to all of our PTA volunteers for everything you do!
