White Plains PTA Council

On Tuesday evening, the White Plains PTA Council held its final meeting of the school year.

A huge thank you to Donna Lafferty-Keane and Kate Scorza Ingram for their two years of service as co-presidents. Their dedication, leadership, and countless hours spent supporting our PTAs, schools, students, and families have made a real difference. They have led with thoughtfulness, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to our community, and we are so grateful for all they have done.

The Council also elected a new slate of officers for the coming year. Congratulations to everyone who was elected, including incoming co-presidents Kris Lalla and Amy Handelsman. With a strong foundation in place thanks to Donna and Kate’s leadership, the Council is well-positioned for another successful year of supporting the White Plains school community.

We were honored to welcome Congressman George Latimer to our PTA Council meeting last week. Congressman Latimer presented our co-presidents, Donna Keane and Kate Scorza Ingram, with Certificates of Special Congressional Recognition in appreciation of their outstanding leadership and dedication to our school community.

Donna and Kate lead with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to our students and families. Their countless hours of volunteer work truly make a difference every day.

We are so grateful for their leadership and proud to see their hard work recognized at the congressional level. Congratulations, Donna and Kate — this honor is so well deserved!
