It was so wonderful seeing many of you at our school meet-and-greets last week! Here are a few pictures from both events.

We also want to let you know our first PTA meeting is next Thursday at 6:00 (right before Back-to-School night for LFJ). If you're a paid member, you should have received an email from us this morning. The only way to receive our formal communications and newsletters is to be a member, so please sign up, if you haven't already. 😊

It's going to be 86 degrees in Hartsdale tomorrow. It's a great day for a picnic!

LFJ Parents, please join us for our back-to-school Meet & Greet event on the LFJ playground from 5-7:00pm. Each class will have a designated area for families to mingle and get to know each other. So bring your picnic snacks and come join us!

Good morning, ECP Families! Don't forget today's Bus Orientation at 11:00 at the ECP Main building and the Meet and Greet at 12:00. It's a great opportunity to meet your kids' teachers, other families, and your PTA. (Shameless plug. 😃) Snacks will be available.

Hi, Parents! Don't forget to sign-up to be an official member of the PTA. Membership dues help fund all of the amazing programs we'll be putting on this year. And an active membership ensures you receive all of the emails from our PTA. The cost is only $10. And if you can, consider buying a donation membership to help a family who may not be able to afford dues.

Heads up, LFJ Parents! You can drop off your child's/children's school supplies the day before school starts. Stop by school on Wednesday, September 2nd between 1:30-2:30p. It's a great opportunity to meet teacher/s before the busyness of the first day. And your friendly PTA Exec Board members will also be around to say "hi"! 👋

And don't worry if you're unable to make it during this window of time. You can absolutely send supplies with your kid/s on the first and second days of school. (This mama didn't get the change clothes sent in until the 2nd week of school last year. 🤫)

Hi, ECP and LFJ Parents! It's that time! Back to School Mode: Activated! As you make final family memories this summer, be sure to check your mail and the parent portal for important Back to School information for your kiddo(s). You should be receiving the Welcome Packet from your respective school(s), which includes: teacher assignments, supply lists, the annual school calendar, required health documentation, and more. (You can also find this information in the parent portal on the GCSD website.)

Your 2026-27 PTA Exec Board has been hard at work this summer preparing for the new school year. We'll see you here, on Instagram, and in person very soon!

Thank you to every volunteer, teacher, staff member, family, donor, and community partner who helped make this year so special. Together, we hosted events, built connections, supported our schools, celebrated our students, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Your commitment has helped strengthen our school community and leave a lasting impact on our students and families.

That flew by!!! Have an amazing summer everyone!

Happy Last Day of School, GCSD!

As we close out another incredible school year, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our students, families, teachers, staff, administrators, Board of Education, and community partners for making this a year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and memorable experiences.

Now it's time to relax, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved summer break. Make time for family, friends, and new adventures, and don't forget to keep up with your summer reading.

Thank you for a wonderful 2025-2026 school year. We look forward to welcoming our Falcons back in early September, ready to soar to even greater heights.
