The Living Muse Company brought the African American Living Museum to Bardonia elementary this month! The Living Muse Company (LMC), offers interactive programs on many subjects and areas of culture and history. We are an immersive arts-in- education experience that brings history to life by creating a museum in schools and centers.

Students K through 5th grade walked from exhibit to exhibit to learn about people who were deeply invested and inspirational for African American and worldwide cultures. Inventors, abolishionists, writers and adventureres immersed the students in their life stories. Malcolm’s, Josephine Baker, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Alvin Ailey, Bessie Coleman, Mary Van Britton Brown and Professor Michael Eaddy were the living “exhibits” in this immersive theater program.

The Living Museum company celebrates Palm Sunday at Saint Bartholomew’s Church in New York City. Our repertoire contains Christian, Judaic, and Islamic stories for interactive presentations with young people in worship.
