The Montessori Garden, Inc. At the Montessori Garden our goal is to nurture and expand the minds of children by practicing the Montessori Philosophy.

Our program is designed to teach children from 15 months to 6 years of age. The materials in the class start simple and concrete with the toddlers and progress to more complex as the children move onto the Pre-K classroom. As they progress through the program they will learn beginners math, culture, science, geography and art. We also focus on phonetic sounds and writing, practicing phonetic sounds and writing will help the child to begin reading while following the child's pace. Our staff follow the Montessori method in every level of teaching. This means assisting and guiding the child in all her/his needs: physically, academically, spiritually and mentally. We are mindful of how nutrition effects the performance of our children and we make an effort to provide natural and organic foods. Our menu is also designed and approved by a nutritionist and NYS RN.
