🎒📚 Supporting Our Young Scholars! 📚🎒

Yesterday, was the first day for the after-school program at the Re*****on New Rochelle Boys & Girls Club, so we were happy to partner with the center to donate and distribute school supplies to students in grades K - 5.

We extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Club’s dedicated support staff for assisting with the setup and distribution. Together, we are helping ensure that our young scholars have the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed!

Yesterday, we proudly represented at the African American Day Parade, with our Brothers and Sisters from chapters across New York and fellow members of the Divine Nine.

Despite the messy weather, Harlem’s spirit never wavered. Hundreds lined the streets to celebrate our culture, history, unity, and collective impact. It was a powerful day of fellowship, pride, and service in the heart of Harlem. 🤘🏾💙 GOMAB!

💙 Empowering Families Through Civic Engagement 💙

The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Beta Psi Sigma Chapter were proud to attend the Parent Meeting at Edward Williams Elementary School in Mount Vernon in recognition of National Voter Registration Day.

During the meeting, the Brothers shared nonpartisan voter-registration information and resources with parents and families. We thank Principal Naughton and the Edward Williams Elementary School community for welcoming us and allowing us to support this important civic-engagement initiative.

The Brothers of Beta Psi Sigma Chapter are back at the Re*****on Boys & Girls Club! The chapter kicked off its first meeting of the fraternal year with a strong focus on brotherhood, community impact, and building momentum for the year ahead. Leadership highlighted the chapter’s resilience and continued commitment to service while encouraging brothers to stay engaged, participate in committees, read chapter communications, and help develop the next generation of chapter leaders.

The chapter also celebrated its continued growth, with fully financial membership increasing and reported Black economic impact surpassing $600,000 over the past two years, and awarding over $12,000 in annual scholarships.

Looking ahead, brothers have several opportunities to put service into action. Upcoming initiatives include voter-registration support at a school parent meeting, participation in National Dads Take Your Child to School Day at PS 47 (Bronx, NY), a November Veterans Day blood drive with a goal of at least 25 donors, and continued support of the Sigma Beta Club and its youth programming.

With a full slate of initiatives on the horizon, the chapter is positioned to keep moving forward together.
