Greetings from our Grade 7 class trip to Frost Valley! 🌲

The students had a great time enjoying the great outdoors and everything it had to offer. The trip was packed with fun activities and exciting adventures.

It was a wonderful experience filled with new challenges, teamwork, and memories that will last long after the trip is over! 💙🧡

At the start of the school year, our Seniors took part in a practical safety training session as part of their Chemistry course with Mr. K. Students learned about fire safety and then put their knowledge into practice during a fire-extinguisher exercise. 🧯🔥

The goal? Understanding fire—and knowing how to extinguish it safely.

A valuable hands-on lesson made possible by our spacious campus right next to the Science Wing!

A big thank-you to Mr. K for not only teaching, but also making this fun reel! 🎬

Our annual Student Representative Elections took place last week! Congratulations to our incumbents, Emilia ’28 and Felix ’28, on your reelection!

Our students, and the entire school community, benefited tremendously from the initiatives you brought to life last school year. We’re excited to see what you will accomplish next!

At GISNY, student representation is an important part of learning beyond the classroom. Elections give students a real-world opportunity to experience democracy in action: to make informed choices, cast their vote, run for office, take on responsibility, and use their voices to make a positive difference in their school community.

Greetings from our Seniors who are currently on their class trip to Washington DC! Yesterday they were invited to the German Embassy where they met with Mr. Froehly, Head of the Economic Department, for a conversation about German-American relations as well as current European and global affairs. What an incredible opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world diplomacy and global affairs! We can’t wait to hear about their further adventures this week. Thank you to German Embassy USA for this memorable day!
