At the Y, we see every day how outdoor play encourages creativity, builds confidence, and supports healthy, active lifestyles. Whether it’s running, climbing, imagining, or simply enjoying nature, time outside helps kids learn and grow in meaningful ways. 💙

“We live in DC and decided to come up to the area for a couple weeks and took a bet on Camp Combe. We just drove back and our kids, have been gushing about the camp. R said that Abby is the best camp counselor she's ever had. We will be coming back for several weeks next year. You all did a fantastic job managing the camp and communicating with us. We're grateful and it made me happy to see the joy from all the counselors and kids in the morning.”

Last summer, Fish Hut helped our campers experience the joy of fishing—and now they’re inviting our Y families to join them for another meaningful outdoor experience! 🎣💙
