From a 100 acre family farm in 1925 to helping shape the landscape of East Tennessee, Five Oaks Development Group has a rich history of investing in the community they call home!

For generations, the Ogle family has helped the Smokies grow through retail, restaurants, lodging, and entertainment, all while remaining committed to giving back.

We are so grateful they’ve chosen to invest in another important part of our community, the next generation of innovators, engineers, and leaders!

Thank you, Five Oaks Development, for believing in our students and helping us forge the future, one robot at a time!

Last year, we added something to Smoky Mountain Forge that we absolutely LOVED, as did several of you, a space just for our parents.

Because while the kids are busy building, competing, fixing robots, running to judging, and getting ready for that next match… our parents are doing a whole lot of waiting.

Thanks to our Parent Power Sponsor, Absolute Comfort Control, our parents have a place to sit down, pull out a laptop, get a little work done, charge their devices, or just take a break while their kids compete.

And honestly, who better to sponsor a little COMFORT than Absolute Comfort Control?!

Absolute Comfort Control is a locally owned and operated HVAC company that has been serving our community since 2002. They believe in taking care of people, investing in their community, and supporting opportunities for kids in education, technology, and robotics.

We are incredibly thankful that they chose to invest in our families and help us make Smoky Mountain Forge an even better experience, not just for our competitors, but for the parents cheering them on every step of the way.

A HUGE thank you to Absolute Comfort Control, our Parent Power Sponsor! We are so thankful for you!

There’s something pretty special about students building their next big idea with the support of a company that builds big things every day.

We’re so thankful to JLG Industries, one of our Silver Sponsors, for helping make Smoky Mountain Forge possible! Their generosity helps us bring together students who aren’t afraid to tackle a challenge, rethink a design, and try one more time.

JLG, thank you for making room for the next generation of builders and problem-solvers.
We can’t wait for you to see what these kids can do!

Today we’re saying a HUGE THANK YOU to CNB for stepping up and supporting Smoky Mountain Forge as a Silver Sponsor!

CNB has been part of East Tennessee since 1973, and more than 50 years later, they’re still headquartered right here in the Smokies. We absolutely love getting to partner with businesses that call East Tennessee home, too.

There are so many pieces that go into making an event like Smoky Mountain Forge happen, and we truly couldn’t do it without people and businesses willing to come alongside us and support these kids.

CNB, thank you for believing in what we’re doing and helping us make it happen. We are SO grateful to have you in our corner!

Today we’re excited to recognize Alchemy Global Networks, our Tech Sponsor for Smoky Mountain Forge!

Alchemy Global Networks provides advanced IT, networking, and cybersecurity solutions to government and commercial organizations across the country. But what makes their support especially meaningful to us is their commitment to investing in the next generation of technology leaders.

From helping make the technology behind Smoky Mountain Forge possible to supporting STEM opportunities for students right here in East Tennessee, Alchemy Global Networks continues to show up for our students and our mission.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued support of AGSI and for helping us create an event where young innovators can learn, compete, and show off just how capable they are.

Smoky Mountain Forge is almost here, and we could use your help!

We’re preparing to welcome more than 100 robotics teams to Sevierville for an incredible two days of competition. Pulling off an event of this size takes a lot of hands, and quite a few supplies.
Want to learn more about our event? Visit our website: https://www.smokysig.com

If you’re available to volunteer, we would be so grateful for your time. No robotics experience is necessary, and we have roles for everyone!

If you aren’t able to volunteer, you can still help by purchasing one of the high-need items from our Amazon Wish List.
Even one item makes a difference and helps us create an unforgettable experience for these students.

Brenden Cooper - TeamC - 57711C/57711X

Since AGSI opened in 2022, Brenden has been a quiet example of what leadership can look like. Respectful, humble, dependable, and steady, he led through servant-hearted actions and a willingness to help wherever he was needed.

Whether it was supporting teammates, helping younger students, assisting with events, or simply stepping in to do what needed done, Brenden consistently showed maturity and character well beyond his years. His calm leadership and reliability helped shape the culture of AGSI, and his presence will absolutely be missed.

We are incredibly proud of the young man he has become and know he has an amazing future ahead of him.

Thank you, Brenden, for your kindness, leadership, and the example you set for others.
