Located two hours northwest of New York City, our 125' x 38' paint deck is ready to be at your service. A fully operational Scenic Painting Studio, Cobalt Studios specializes in Painting Scenic Backdrops, Scrims, and Translucencies of any design on any fabric, both opaque and translucent. We also paint hard scenery, flats, other set pieces and props in partnership with set construction shops. Our Artisans are also skilled in decorative painting including floorcloths, faux-finishing, marbleizing, woodgraining and trompe l'oeil. If your project can't be painted in our studio we can send a crew to your location. Summer Scene Painting and Teacher Training courses offered in Summer.
